Our Board members are all volunteers and, although we are required to have a traditional hierarchical structure with a President, VP, Treasurer, etc., we maintain a collaborative decision making structure, with shared power between board members, and an openness to partnering with other community organizations, who may operate in less hierarchical ways.
Current requirements for Board Members include:
- Must be a current general member of WACC ($16/year)
- Attend monthly meetings regularly (typically Tuesday evenings)
- Attend organizational events and table for WACC when possible.
- Lead or participate in the planning of events or committee work related to long term projects
